Our family of six lives in the mountains of Northern California. We enjoy a homestead lifestyle, and love raising these amazing pups, working together to care for and train the best puppies possible.

We raise our pups following both Natural Rearing and Puppy Culture methods. Health wise, our pups nurse exclusively from their well-fed mama for 3-4 weeks. Then we slowly wean them onto a raw food diet with no kibble or processed food. We give them an herbal dewormer, that is effective and safe. They are seen by our vet for a full health and wellness check.  They are given nosodes, also called homeopathic vaccines, orally. These help the pups build immunity to diseases without the side effects. There are studies showing that young pups, under 8 weeks of age, don't form many antibodies from traditional puppy shots. This leads to them getting boosters and more shots overall, adding to their toxic load. To us, the risk of those toxins being injected, and weakening their immune system, isn't worth the small potential benefit. We also believe the choice whether to vaccinate should be the pup's new family's to make. All these things are part of being a Natural Rearing breeder, which gives them a great start, and if continued, should greatly minimize future vet expenses and extend their lives. I truly believe they are leaving us with amazing and strong immune systems, ready to face life's adventures!

As for training, we follow the Puppy Culture program. This helps to make the puppies very well adjusted, socialized, and easy to train. Some Puppy Culture protocols include early neurological stimulation, introduction to new and different experiences through fear periods, introduction to many different people and animals, potty training on wood pellets, manding (sitting vs. jumping for attention), the start of crate training, and some temperament testing to help place pups in the best and most fitting homes.
